FAR Australia strengthens team with appointment of agricultural trials officer
Australian based field applied researcher, developer and extension provider is pleased to announce the appointment of Deeptangshu Das as Agricultural Trials Officer (ATO).
This key role not only signifies FAR Australia’s ongoing commitment to nurturing emerging graduates in the field of agronomy and advancing agricultural innovation, but also its commitment to building independent capacity and capability in the R, D & E sector of the Australian grains sector.
Fresh from the University of Western Australia, Deeptangshu Das brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for agricultural innovation to the organisation.
As agricultural trials officer, Deeptangshu will actively contribute to ongoing research programmes, assist in conducting field trials and the collation of data and analysis, and collaborate with industry experts, all with the aim of developing sustainable agronomic practices in WA to assist with enhancing crop profitability and productivity.

Deeptangshu has recently completed a Masters of Agricultural Science at the University of Western Australia in Perth where he was involved in a research project focused on ammonia volatilisation. His academic background, coupled with his practical experience as a business development manager in previous roles has equipped him with a unique set of skills in project management, relationship building, and innovative problem-solving.
Deeptangshu commenced his appointment today and will initially be based at FAR Australia’s head office in Bannockburn, Victoria, prior to relocating to WA to service FAR Australia’s research portfolio.
